|
Barnet Alston FC moved to Underhill in 1907 and, apart from the construction of a stand in 1926, it remained more or less unchanged for nearly forty years. The record attendance of 11,026 was set at the FA Amateur Cup tie v. Wycombe on February 23rd, 1952 and it was not until the 1960s that a new main stand was constructed on the west side and covering installed on the east side and at the south end.
Barnet FC was promoted to the Football League in 1991 and improvements included the installation of additional seating on the west side and at the south end giving it a nominal capacity in 2004 of 5,500 with 1,000 seats and an 115 x 75 yards sized pitch.
